Progress along the Wairoa Stream

One of the recipients of our carbon offset & gift certificates opportunities has been the Wairoa Stream Project that has been creating a wildlife habitat corridor along the banks if the Wairoa stream in Kerikeri.

The Friends of Wairoa Stream are a team of local volunteers who along with other members of the community have, over the last 13 years. planted 27,000 native shrubs and trees and, created over 4 km of corridor with public access.
