An emissions 'check-in' before you book that next offshore flight

I recently came across this calculator when looking at the per-passenger emissions for a flight from Europe (Heathrow) to Auckland. While the emissions for the flight were roughly what I expected (shocking as they are, especially when you consider over 3 million offshore flights occurred last year), the observations were not expected. A particularly shocking statistic is that undertaking a return flight to Europe results in your emissions exceeding the annual emissions of 4.4 billion other earthlings.
