Rotary Kaikohe is very interested in Carbon Neutrality!

We have been out spreading the word again. This time it was a visit to Kaikohe to provide Rotary Kaikohe with an overview of our activities.

Those present were all aware that the Zero Carbon Bill had been put in front of the select committee that afternoon! We told them about our motivation, the e-bike trip, and showed the Kaitiaki video which held their vivid attention!

It was a very kind and interested audience! Councillor John Vujich played a game of penalty payments, based on carbon neutrality sins with very clever and funny arguments! A lot of interesting questions were asked, mostly about the sequestration of trees.
