On this page you can experiment with ways to reduce your CO2 emissions. You can see the effect of replacing gas with electricity, or using public transport one day a week and leaving the car at home.

You should aim to make a reduction of about 10% in your carbon footprint over the next year.

This graph shows your emissions, broken down by category with the largest at the top. Click on one of the category bars to start the planning process..

The graph and table below allow you to start with the numbers you put into the calculator and see how changing them could affect your emissions. Try and create a target for the next 12 months that is at least 10% less than the last 12 months.​​

The top bar shows how much the items in the selected category contributed to your emissions. 

The second bar starts off the same as the first, but changes as you vary the "test value" in the table below.
